Item #3 Young Republicans
District 18 would like to have a Young Republicans organization started at Mesa Community College. There needs to be at 5 students to develop a charter. They would meet at 6 or 6:30 pm the same evenings that we meet. Then they would join our meeting. This idea was not discussed - but we probably need to give this assignment to a precinct committeeperson to oversee.
Item #4 Latino Republicans
· How do we get them active in our club?
Item #5 PC Recruitment
· We have several vacancies in many of our precincts. Area chairs need to work with PC Captains to recruit PC's.
· There are also PC's who do not attend the meetings. Precinct Captains (and if they are the one who are absent, then area chairs need to personally contact them.)
· Our council member's should be invited to be PC's.
Item #6 Greetings and Registration Table
· Discussion took place regarding several organizational concerns and the suggestions are as follows:
· A greeter will meet members, guests and potential PC's as they arrive.
